We are getting ready to go and help serve at the Spout Springs Library Grand Opening tomorrow in Flowery Branch. We are bringing out a moonwalk and sno-cone machine to help them make their day that much better. At the end of the day we will help pick up all the trash that I'm sure will be in the parking lot as well.
We aren't doing this to make Reveal Church known, in fact no one their will know that our church has brought the extra equipment except the leaders at the library. We want to be loud in our community and that means serving them every chance we get. I believe Jesus focused on serving every where he went and we need to do the same. I'm sure we will get to meet a lot of people and start making relationships but more importantly we want to serve.
What are you doing for your community or what can you do to help something be that much better by serving? All you have to do is look around and there are tons of opportunities. Are you taking them?

Graduated
We finished up our time at West Ridge's church planting school this past weekend and graduated on Sunday. That's right I wore a cap and gown and all! Ok not really but that would of been funny if I did.
Brian Bloye was my student pastor from seventh grade all the way through high school and he left my senior year to start West Ridge. It was awesome getting to sit down and listen to him teach again this week. The passion he had as a student pastor is still flowing through him today years later. It's encouraging to see a man who has not lost his passion for seeing the lost saved and the saved growing.
We look forward to partnering with West Ridge in seeing Georgia come to Christ!

Suing the shoelace company...
So I'm not really suing the shoe lace company but that would be as stupid as the story I just read on foxnews.com. I feel bad for the parents but not so bad not to call them stupid. This is ridiculous!

Answered Prayer
I just finished meeting with Bill Calhoun the pastor of Gillsville Baptist Church in Gillsville, GA and he has officially offered their parsonage for us to live in for the next six months. I can not explain the excitement that I have right now! This is a huge answer to prayer for us as things have been up in the air so much lately. Thank you to everyone that has been praying for us as God has definetly answered this prayer.
We hope to move up there next week to avoid paying another months rent in our current house. So for all of you that are close by i'll be contacting you to help move or you can volunteer your services.
Thank you Jesus!
GC'S
Amber and I have been married for just over three years and we still have a little money left on gift cards from things we returned when we got married. I know that's crazy but it's the truth I'm not sure if we are just dumb for not spending the money or if we are that frugal about what we buy. (Yes I used the word frugal; i hope i used it correctly) I love getting gift cards and i've noticed lately just how much I depend of gift cards to get things done. We go out to eat primarily on gc's and buy most of our clothes on gc's as well. It's a nice feeling walking away from a store and knowing you haven't spent your own money but got exactly what you wanted. There is no spiritual twist on this I just thought I would share what I was randomly thinking this afternoon.

Parsonage
I had a great time hanging out with Bill Calhoun from Gillsville Baptist Church yesterday. He is the pastor that has a parsonage that may be available for us to live in until we get settled and are able to buy a house in Flowery Branch. He has lived in the Gainesville are for years and knows a lot about the county and needs of the area. He is taking it to his church tomorrow night to see if it is ok with them for us to live in the parsonage. If everything passes we may be moving in the next couple of weeks. Although it's a bit farther north than we wanted we are so excited and thankful for how God is providing for us.
Please continue to pray for us and for those close by I will be calling you to come and help us move soon, Lord willing!
