After thinking we were in the clear of Amber getting a headache from the epidural she woke up Monday morning with a headache. As the day went on it got worse and worse. We headed down to the hospital that afternoon and she said it hurt worse than any migraine she’s ever had. When we got back in the room to get the bloodpatch the nurse messed up the iv and her arm started to swell up around the injection spot. I thought an alien was about to bust out of her skin. The other nurse came in and took it out and did a new one, but it still hurt and swelled up some too. I have to say it was the worst day for needles for her. The doc came in and gave her another epidural using her blood instead of medicine. Thankfully she has been headache free and it seems everything is good to go.
We are getting some sleep here and there but not a lot of sleep at any time. Keegan is so stinkin cute and her big sis Kinsey loves her to death. I can’t wait to see what kind of friendship they will have as they grow up.
