Amber woke up this morning at 3:30 with a contraction. She didn't think much about it because they've been off and on for the last 4 days. But two hours later she woke me up and we started getting things ready to come to the hospital. We got here and they said she was 5cm and immediately admitted her. 20 minutes later she was at 7 and they rushed the epidural. Thats when the fun began! Normally the epidural takes about 10-15min to work but it immediately hit her and numbed both legs and started moving up her chest. The doc called for help and people started flying in the room, my heart started pumping so hard and blood pressure went through the roof. They got the ventilator out and all these hoses I didn't know what to think. After a couple of minutes the pressure started going down in her chest and the coast was clear but it was crazy for a few minutes there.
Now that she's had the epidural everything has slowed down and taking forever. They said she should have the baby in the next couple of hours. I can't wait for her to get here.
Amber is doing great and I'll be sure to post pictures on here by tomorrow.
Amber is sleeping right now and that is why I'm posting because I'm bored.
