Real Cowboy

This morning on my way to the church I became a real cowboy. Going down the road I noticed something that didn't look quit right. A horse was grazing on some grass right next to the road and there was no fence between him and me. So being the cowboy that I am I pulled over and knocked on the owners door to let them know their horse was out. But of course no one was home. So I went and tried to get the horse back to its stall by myself. Now its been about 12 years since I owned a horse and if you can imagine a horse doing something to someone its been done to me. So I was a bit scarred going up to it. The horse let me pet it but when I went to put a rope around his neck his ears flew back and trotted off. Ha ha i just used the word trotted!
From then on it wouldn't let me get close. Finally two other guys stopped to help and we were able to pin the horse in and get a rope on him and put him in a stall.
I'm so mad at the owners of this horse right now though. It is kept in a small little area behind the house with hardly any grass and no water in the buckets. I think I'm going to stop by their house tonight to let them know what happened, hopefully I don't get shot.
